Samvedana is our community outreach program directed at low income communities in rural areas in the vicinity of Amravati as well as urban slums. We take primary healthcare to the doorstep of those who, for the reasons of lack of knowledge and resources, do not seek medical attention.
A mobile dispensary equipped with facilities for examination and manned with a medical officer, nurse and medical social worker visits the community on the assigned day. People with non communicable diseases are detected and treatment is begun, simple acute ailments are treated and more complex conditions are referred to our tertiary care facility.
Along with a consultation for ₹30, generic medicines for one week are given free of cost.
Currently we are serving 16 villages across 3 talukas of Amravati and 6 urban slums. We have collectively reached more than 21000 patients till date
